Wisconsin does not have voter registration by party. Voters can register to vote at the polls on election day. Voters may request the ballot of any party but for one party only. "Uncommitted" appears on the ballot under the choice labeled "Uninstructed Delegation". Write-in candidates are allowed. Tuesday 2 April 2024: Wisconsin Primary. 75 of 87 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Wisconsin Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be pledged National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level.
