2024 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions
The delegate selection processes herein, along with any and all dates and delegate counts associated therewith, are unofficial and based on either (1) information obtained from either Major Party, (2) Presidential Primary dates established by currently-effective State statute, or- where the foregoing information could not be obtained- (3) the state's 2020 delegate selection process and associated dates adjusted to the corresponding dates in 2024.
Presidential Nominating Process
Primary: Tuesday 5 March 2024 (presumably)1
Congressional District Caucuses: Saturday 27 April 2024 (presumably)
State Committee and National Convention Delegate Meeting: Saturday 18 May 2024 (presumably)
Delegate Pledging: Proportional Primary. Voter Eligibility: Modified Primary.

Registered Democrats and registered voters not enrolled in another political party may vote in the Democratic Presidential Primary.
Tuesday 5 March 2024 (presumably): Massachusetts Primary. Hours reportedly 7:00a-8:00p EST (1200-0100 UTC). Some municipalities may open their polls as early as 5:45a EST. Delegate Pledging: Proportional Primary. Voter Eligibility: Modified Primary.
92 of 117 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Massachusetts Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level. Saturday 27 April 2024 (presumably): The Congressional District Caucuses meet to elect National Convention District delegates according to the results of the primary.
Saturday 18 May 2024 (presumably): State Committee and National Convention Delegate Meeting
The Pledged PLEO and At-large National Convention delegates are selected by the State Party Committee according to the results of the primary.
