Tuesday 11 June 2024: State Convention/State Committee Meeting. The State Democratic Committee elects 4 At-Large and 3 Pledged PLEO delegates according to the results of the primary. In addition, the State Committee holds a special post primary caucus to select additional delegates in the event a Presidential candidate qualified to receive delegates but has not slated a sufficient number.

The remaining 9 National Convention delegates consist of

  • 9 Unpledged PLEO delegates:
    • 4 Democratic National Committee members.
    • 4 Members of Congress (2 Senators and 2 Representatives).
    • 1 Governor.
    • 0 Distinguished Party Leaders.

These 9 delegates and will go to the Democratic National Convention officially "Unpledged".
