2024 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions
The delegate selection processes herein, along with any and all dates and delegate counts associated therewith, are unofficial and based on either (1) information obtained from either Major Party, (2) Presidential Primary dates established by currently-effective State statute, or- where the foregoing information could not be obtained- (3) the state's 2020 delegate selection process and associated dates adjusted to the corresponding dates in 2024 and labeled "(presumably)" or "Circa".

Candidate filing deadline for candidates not generally recognized: Friday 15 March 2024
Primary: Tuesday 14 May 2024 (presumably)
State Convention: Circa June 2024 (date not set)

NEGOP Constitution from the Nebraska Republican Party.
A candidate who has been determined by the Secretary of State to be a recognized candidate for the presidency is automatically placed on the primary election ballot. For others, the deadline for filing is 15 March 2024.
Circa March - April 2024 (date not set): County Conventions elect delegates to the State Convention.
This Presidential Primary coincides with a state/local primary. These coinciding primaries tend to have an impact upon voter turnout.
Nebraska has voter registration by party and provides that a political party may allow non-affiliated voters to vote in their primary election.
Tuesday 14 May 2024 (presumably): Nebraska Primary. Hours reportedly 8:00a-8:00p CDT / 7:00a-7:00p MDT (1300-0100 UTC). The polls open and close at the same GMT/UTC time, that is, polls open and close at a particular local time in the advanced time zone and open and close one hour earlier local time in the lagging time zone. Delegate Binding: Winner-Take-All Primary. Voter Eligibility: Closed Primary.
All 36 of Nebraska's delegates to the Republican National Convention are pledged to the candidate who receives the most votes in today's Nebraska Presidential Primary [Nebraska Republican Party State Constitution Article VII §3.3].
Circa June 2024 (date not set): The Nebraska State Republican Convention convenes in Kearney.
National Convention delegates are bound to vote for the candidate they pledged support for the first 2 ballots at the National Convention unless the candidate received less than 35% of the vote.
Primary dates marked "presumably" and polling times marked "reportedly" are based on unofficial or estimated data (especially as regards local variations from a jurisdictionwide statutory and/or regulatory standard) and are, thereby, subject to change.
