NEGOP Constitution from the Nebraska Republican Party.

A candidate who has been determined by the Secretary of State to be a recognized candidate for the presidency is automatically placed on the primary election ballot. For others, the deadline for filing is 15 March 2024.

Circa March - April 2024 (date not set): County Conventions elect delegates to the State Convention.

This Presidential Primary coincides with a state/local primary. These coinciding primaries tend to have an impact upon voter turnout.

Nebraska has voter registration by party and provides that a political party may allow non-affiliated voters to vote in their primary election.
