All 43 of Oklahoma's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today's Oklahoma Presidential Primary. [Rule 18(h)]

  • The 15 district delegates are allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the 5 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates.
    • If one candidate receives more than 50% of the vote or only one candidate receives 15% or more of the vote, that candidate receives 3 delegates.
    • Otherwise, if exactly 2 candidates receive 15% or more of the vote, the candidate receiving the most votes receives 2 delegates and the candidate receiving the second most votes receives 1 delegate.
    • Otherwise, if 3 or more candidates receive 15% or more of the vote, the top 3 vote-getters each receive 1 delegate. (no information on what happens should no candidate receive at least 15% of the vote.)
  • If one candidate receives more than 50% of the statewide vote, that candidate receives all of the state's 28 (10 at-large, 15 bonus, 3 RNC) at-large delegates. Otherwise, the 28 at-large delegates are proportionally allocated to those candidates receiving 15% or more of the total statewide vote. The allocation is in proportion to the total statewide vote NOT the total vote of those candidates receiving 15% or more of statewide vote. The remaining delegates are unbound. Round fractions to the nearest whole number. (no information on what to do if the rounding results in 1 too many or what happens should no candidate receive at least 15% of the vote.)
