2020 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions
The delegate selection processes herein, along with any and all dates and delegate counts associated therewith, are unofficial and based on either (1) information obtained from either Major Party, (2) Presidential Primary dates established by currently-effective State statute, or- where the foregoing information could not be obtained- (3) the state's 2016 delegate selection process and associated dates adjusted to the corresponding dates in 2020.
Presidential Nominating Process
County Conventions: Friday 3 April - Sunday 12 April 2020 (presumably)
Presidential Primary: Tuesday 12 May 2020 (presumably)
State Convention: Saturday 16 May 2020 (presumably)
36 total delegates - 10 base at-large / 9 re: 3 congressional districts / 3 party / 14 bonus

Friday 3 April - Sunday 12 April 2020 (presumably): County Conventions elect delegates to the State Convention.
This Presidential Primary coincides with a state/local primary. These coinciding primaries tend to have an impact upon voter turnout.
Tuesday 12 May 2020 (presumably): Nebraska Presidential Primary. Hours reportedly 8:00a-8:00p CDT / 7:00a-7:00p MDT (1300-0100 UTC). The polls open and close at the same GMT/UTC time, that is, polls open and close at a particular local time in the advanced time zone and open and close one hour earlier local time in the lagging time zone. Delegate Binding: Winner-Take-All Primary. Voter Eligibility: Closed Primary.
All 36 of Nebraska's delegates to the Republican National Convention are pledged to in today's Nebraska Presidential Primary [Nebraska Republican Party State Constitution Article VII (3)(a); Proposed Rules 2016 Nebraska Republican Party State Convention, Rule 14].
Saturday 16 May 2020 (presumably): The Nebraska State Republican Convention convenes.
National Convention delegates are bound to vote for the candidate they pledged support for the first 2 ballots at the National Convention unless the candidate received less than 35% of the vote.
Primary dates marked "presumably" and polling times marked "reportedly" are based on unofficial or estimated data (especially as regards local variations from a jurisdictionwide statutory and/or regulatory standard) and are, thereby, subject to change.
