Tuesday 20 May 2008: 42 of 45 of Kentucky's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Kentucky Presidential Primary.
Delegates to the national convention are bound for the first ballot. If a candidate dies or withdraws, any delegates allocated to that candidate become uncommitted. The 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Kentucky's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position.
