20 May 2008 official results from an official source. 20 May 2008 official results from an official source by CD. Here is how we compute the delegate count:
Unpledged delegates as of |
Having begun their first determining step in Stage III in 2008 (Tuesday 20 May 2008 ), Kentucky receives a 10% Bonus in district and at-large delegate votes (+3 district and +1 at-large). Total delegate votes changed from 55 to 59. Participation in Kentucky’s delegate selection process is open to all voters who wish to participate as Democrats. Because Kentucky holds closed party primaries, voters must identify party preference at the time of registration (at least 28 days before the election) to be eligible to vote in the primary election. Tuesday 20 May 2008: 51 of 60 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Kentucky Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level.
