Tuesday 12 February 2008: 16 of the District of Columbia's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to a presidential contender in today's District of Columbia Presidential Preference Primary.

  • 16 National Convention delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary.

In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman and the National Committeewoman (selected during the caucus) along with the chairman of the District of Columbia's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates.
