State Convention: Saturday 17 May 2008 Congressional District Vote. Final delegate selections from a party source.
Saturday 19 January 2008 Precinct Caucuses Final Saturday 19 January 2008 Precinct Caucus results from a party source. Below is an estimate of the 19 January 2008 delegate count by CD. Note that no national convention delegates are elected on 19 January. The process of allocating national convention delegates begins in April. Reference: http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/1/19/181854/832. District 1: Clinton 3, Obama 3 Total: Obama 13, Clinton 12. Here's how we estimate the delegate count on 10 January 2008: (Since we do not have a breakdown of the vote by CD)
Articles in the Reno Gazette-Journal and AP report that Obama won 14 national delegates to Clinton's 11 at the State Convention. With about 2,510 state delegates participating, Obama received 55% to Clinton's 45%. An estimate made from the caucus results predicted Obama 13 and Clinton 12. The reason for the difference was Obama out performed Clinton in rural areas of Nevada and Washoe County. Nevada Secretary of State: 2008 Presidential Caucus Unpledged delegates as of |
