Most of the tables found in the State and Local Government section of TheGreenPapers.com contain both current and historical data. Current data- that re: still functioning political offices, political bodies, courts of justice, etc.- is always in boldface; historical data- that involving no longer functioning political and governmental entities- are in normal type face.
It has been the professed goal of TheGreenPapers.com to have at least the current data on each table in this section of the site as complete, accurate and up-to-date as we can possibly make it by the start of the academic year 2001/2002; accordingly, as we have finished compiling the current data to be found in each table, we have been making these tables accessible to our site's users in an attempt to have all the current data re: all the tables in this section of the site available to the public by the early Fall of 2001. However, historical data on these tables may or may not be incomplete at the time each table is made public on our site; if we do not have historical data posted on these tables for the branch of State and Local Government- or for the particular State- for which you might be interested in such historical data, please make it a point to check back regularly as we intend to continue posting newly researched historical data on these tables at regular intervals.
