A Thursday 11 March 2004 article in Samoa News reports that The Republican Party of American Samoa has endorsed President George G. Bush for re-election.

   

Saturday 28 February 2004: A Territorial Caucus convenes as a Convention to choose 6 delegates to the Republican National Convention.

  • "The delegates from American Samoa are chosen in such a way so that they best reflect the presidential preference of the Caucus/Convention participants."

In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the American Samoa's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position.
