87 of 102 of New York's delegates to the Republican National Convention are to be allocated to President George Bush.

87 delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.

Tuesday 18 May - Wednesday 19 May 2004: The New York Republican State Committee will meet and choose 12 at-large delegates.

"New York's 12 at-large delegates chosen by the State's Republican State Committee will go to the Republican National Convention officially 'Unpledged'."

In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the New York's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position.
