We have assumed that the 3 RNC delegates, while officially "uncommitted", will support Bush. 11 January 2004 update: A slate of 16 Delegates committed to President George W. Bush have been certified to appear on the Caucus ballot. (Under Republican Party rules, the DC Republican Chairman, and both the DC National Committeeman and Committeewoman are automatic delegates to the Convention, giving DC 3 additional Delegates.) No other slate of declared Presidential candidates sought to appear on the ballot. The names of the Bush slate is available on the DCRC website at: http://dcgop.com/caucus.html |
