MINOR CIVIL DIVISIONS: Hundreds
[Note: DELAWARE's "hundreds" have no associated governmental structure and are, thus, somewhat vestigial as a secondary administrative unit below the level of the County; nevertheless, they were- for a long time- the unit utilized as the jurisdiction of the lowest courts in the State's judicial system and were the basis of the earliest establishment of title to land and, thus, still have some residual effect as Delaware's Minor Civil Division. All portions of the State- including incorporated Municipalities- are part of at least one of these "hundreds"]
