10 February 2004 update: The caucus elected the slate of 16 Bush delegates today. There was no opposition. We have assumed that the 3 automatic RNC delegates (the DC Republican Chairman, the DC National Committeeman, and Committeewoman), while officially "uncommitted", will support Bush.

11 January 2004 update: A slate of 16 delegates, who are all committed to President George W. Bush, have been certified for the caucus ballot. No other slate sought to appear on the ballot.

Tuesday 10 February 2004: 16 of the District of Columbia's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to a presidential contender in today's District of Columbia Presidential Preference Caucus.

  • 16 National Convention delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the caucus.

In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman and the National Committeewoman (selected during the caucus) along with the chairman of the District of Columbia's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates.
