26 May 2004 Unpledged delegate preference update: Kerry: 1. Unpledged delegates appear in the "Soft Unpledged" column. The Popular Vote above is based on official returns from the 1 June Primary. This Presidential Primary coincides with a state/local primary. These coinciding primaries tend to have an impact upon voter turnout. Returns from the Alabama Secretary of State The Alabama Democratic Party reports that "Uncommitted" received more than 15% of the primary vote in CDs 1, 2, 3, and 4. Hence, "Uncommitted" will received one delegate in each of those CDs. At the State Convention, 6 Kerry delegates and 1 "Uncommitted" unpledged PLEO delegates were elected along with 11 Kerry and 1 "Uncommitted" At-Large delegates.
|
