Michigan State and Local Government


The Gubernatorial and U.S. House nominees for the Democratic and Republican parties are selected by the 3 August 2010 Primary.

Democratic and Republican candidates for Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State are nominated by political parties at their fall state convention. The Republican Convention is Saturday 28 August 2010.

The Green, Libertarian, Natural Law, and U.S. Taxpayers Parties nominate by convention rather than by primary.
