Thursday 22 July 2004 - Pennsylvania CD 8 update

Republican Congressman James C. Greenwood (renominated 27 April 2004 by
primary) has announced his retirement effective 5 January 2005.

He is no longer a candidate for re-election and no replacement candidate has
been named.

Congressman Greenwood has accepted an offer to become President of the
Biotechnology Industry Organization.
