Update on efforts to postpone the California Gubernatorial Recall Election

On Friday 5 September a panel of three Federal judges, acting on a hearing
regarding the Voting Rights Act, declined to postpone the recall election.

There will be a hearing before the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on
Thursday 11 September. In this suit, the ACLU is challenging the use of
punch-card voting machines.
