Gov. Pataki Not Running For Re-Election,
Likely to Run for President in '08

Governor George E. Pataki (R-New York) will not be seeking another term in 2006, it was announced today. It is expected that the three-term Chief Executive of the Empire State will "test the waters" re: a possible run for the Republican Presidential Nomination in 2008.
